Waimak United offers opportunities to players at varying levels of the sport from Junior All Whites (6 and under), through all Junior & Youth Grades to Senior football in Men & Women’s grades.

OCTOBER HOLIDAY PROGRAM
4th - 6th October Maria Andrews Park, 9am - 3pm (drop off after 8:45am, pick up before 3:15pm), for participants aged 5-13.  Cost $75 per participant.  Program will be coached by WUFC Football Development Officer Fraser Gauld with the assistance of youth and senior players.  A WUFC Board member will also be on site at all times.  Participants will be divided into age appropriate groups.  Participants are required to bring lunch, morning and afternoon tea, drink, shin pads and boots.  In wet weather activities will be held in the clubrooms - players should also bring appropriate warm clothing.

TERM 4 PDP
The player development program is designed to coach individual technical skills.  The program is suited to those players who want extra training  to identify where their individual skills are at, and brand new players to the game who want to learn these skills.  The summer terms (1&4) will run for 8 weeks at a cost of $40.  Each session is 1 hour in length.

For Term 4 the program will be based at Kendall Park on a TUESDAY and MARIA ANDREWS PARK on a Thursday. There will be 2 age groups: Shooters (5-8 year olds) and Strikers (9-12 year olds). Term 4 begins tuesday 19th/Thursday 21st October and run through to Tuesday 7th/Thursday 9th December. Shooters will run from 4pm - 5pm, Strikers will run from 5:15pm - 6:15pm. The program will be coached by the Waimak United Program Development Officer Fraser Gauld.  In order to keep groups small he may be assisted by senior/youth players.

Hi all
Hope everyone is safe and well.
A reminder that we celebrate the end of the football season on Saturday (11th September) with our annual prizegiving and end of season function.

The schedule for this is on the home page.  We suggest everyone arrives 15 minutes prior to the start time as this will enable us to get the groups in, and keep the event running to time.  A reminder to coaches, this event is for club prizes only.  We do not have the time to include any other special team awards you may have.  These need to be presented away from the main event.

There will be a shop with drinks and treats open, sausage sizzle running, and the bar opens at 1pm.

The evening event is open to all members (we would love to see parents, coaches, managers etc join in and celebrate with us) and does include our senior prizegiving.  This begins at 7:30pm and runs through to midnight with supper and a DJ. $2 covercharge.

HELP!! - We need some help cleaning up after the prizegiving on Sunday morning between 8am and 10am, sweeping,  mopping, moving furniture back into place.  Many hands make light work!  If you are able to assist please email

The academy will run for 6 weeks on Sundays starting this Sunday 8th August 10am at Maria Andrews Park.  We will continue at Maria Andrews Park on Sunday 15th, and 22nd August - while Kendall Park is too wet.

A reminder a high standard of behaviour and level of concentration is required.
Please come prepared with shin pads, boots, and drink bottle.
